THESE ARE MOUNTED ON A MILLION DOLLAR HOME.
IM HOPING I CAN SEND PICTURES TO SHOW KWIKSET THE PITTED AND DISCOLORED METAL.
HOME DEPOT SUGGESTED I WRITE TO KWIKSET TO OBTAIN A REPLACEMENT PACKAGE . HOME DEPOT DOES NOT HAVE A RECORD OF MY PURCHASE AND I. DO NOT HAVE A RECEIPT.
I BELIEVE I PAID CASH.
I DONT WANT SOMETHING FOR NOTHING BUT THIS HARDWARE LOOKS LIKE IT IS 30 YRS OLD

Step one fail
Step one requires me to call a 800 number that disconnects in the menu tree every time a human is required like they are out of business. I cant have a lock from a company that isn't professional.
disgusting. I'm not good enough to be able to contact them. not chat, nothing.
I'm returning the lock those jerks made no matter how good it was because the corporation is incompetent. A front door lock that connects to the home network requires better than this for sure!

I have tried using an elastic band, rubber glove and cant unscrew.
Help. I dont want to have to saw the whole door ensemble etc off.

Kwikset Smartkey Padlocks
I have purchased several of the subject padlocks from Amazon and am very pleased with the product. I decided to order some more and discovered they were out of stock.
Called Kwikset Customer Service this morning and learned that the Smartkey padlocks are no longer available. Im very disappointed that such a great product (as far as Im concerned) is no longer available.
Trying not to be nosy but am very curious as to why the product was discontinued.
I wish I had known about their existence earlier as I would have purchased more of them. To me its a great way to minimize the number of keys I have to keep up with and the price of the padlocks was very economical.

Not holy
Bought cheap entrance lock at Merards inTriadelphia, wv. There were no holes on the interior decorative cover.

Low battery, customer services
After replacing the battery, the buttons key code did not work! I call the customer service and help me to solve the issue !

Lock failure
My electronic door lock failed to open and locked me out of my house. Keybad had no sound and key would not work.i had to have locksmith come and drill lock off door.

Warranty replacement parts
I had a door set that was missing parts, I contacted kwikset and they sent replacement parts. I really appreciate your help, although there were some things missing in the replacement set, thanks. Good job!!!

No help from distributor
Defective parts doorknob stop locking and unlocking. Tried to use back door and could not unlock to get out of house.

Kwikset lever handle wont lock by the button
Customer service was 100%, she recognized the problem right away and instructed me as to the remedy, I followed the instruction and it solved the problem.

I watched a Yuutube video and after a while I got the lock on. Thank you.
I was locked out of my house for 4 hrs. Went to Lowes and purchased the lock.
I hv never put a lock on before and I was frustratingly stuck.
Although I got several follow up emails after I reached out-I ended up watching a man on you tube assemble the lock. Worked out.
